University of Illinois Extension announces a position opening for an Extension Specialist, Community and Economic Development (CED). This is an academic professional (non-tenured) position with primary responsibility for developing educational programs supporting the mission of University of Illinois Extension; working with Extension Educators statewide to design innovative programs and delivery systems; and carrying out applied research which is shared with Extension staff. Field Specialist II – Community Vitality Innovation position will focus
on Extension engagement and education with Latino youth, families,
businesses and communities. This position will provide educational

of program materials and the provision of staff and volunteer training,
as well as help develop educational models that may be used by the

responsibility of the President is being the chief spokesperson for WCI by
representing it to the region in all activities. He/she must be visible
throughout the region, must be present in community forums, meetings and social
gatherings. He/she will also represent the region to the greater State of
Minnesota including the Legislative and Executive Branches. As Chief Executive
